Job Title: Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team. As an Occupational Therapist at McCall Rehabilitation and Care Center, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to their rehabilitation journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients within 48 hours of physician referral
  • Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval for services from referring physicians
  • Treat patients according to physician-approved treatment plans
  • Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and Aides in direct patient care and patient-related activities
  • Communicate with supervisors and other healthcare team members regarding patient progress, problems, and plans
  • Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review Meetings, and Rehabilitation Conferences
  • Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, and HFCA therapy cert/POC forms as per facility policy and procedure
  • Record treatment charges daily as per facility policy and procedures
  • Instruct patient families or nursing staff in maintenance programs
  • Participate in discharge planning
  • Comply with Occupational Therapy Practice Act and facility Policy and Procedures
Requirements:
  • Licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Open to OTs at all experience levels
  • Exhibits a sincere desire to help patients and residents in their rehabilitation process
  • Exhibits knowledge and understanding of therapy practice
