About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Fleet Tire Sales Specialist to join our team at Goodyear. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for selling new and retreaded commercial truck tires and related products and services to our existing and potential customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively seek and develop new business opportunities and represent the company to potential customers.
  • Travel to customer sites to establish and build relationships, and to provide sales support and product knowledge.
  • Sell company-supported products and services, and meet sales goals set by management.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of products and services to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Evaluate customer needs and make recommendations using a value-selling approach.
  • Attend sales training and continually build product knowledge.
  • Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting, standing, bending, sitting, and squatting.
  • Create or increase truck tire sales through a planned program of regular solicitation.
  • Schedule fleet service appointments and coordinate with the service department.
  • Conduct fleet needs evaluations and provide customers with cost analysis and benefits.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of tire adjustments and handle customer casings appropriately.
  • Deliver tires to customers as needed.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of successful sales and/or business-to-business experience.
  • Valid driver's license for the type of vehicle required for the position and ability to meet commercial driver qualification requirements.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • No relocation is being offered for this position.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Associate degree in a related field.
  • Previous business-to-business sales experience.
