As a member of our team, you will:
- Exhibit a comprehensive understanding of imaging principles, anatomy, and pathology processes while employing the most effective techniques for optimal examinations.
- Communicate proficiently with patients to gather clinical histories and obtain informed consent, aiding physicians in enhancing the performance and interpretation of examinations.
- Conduct and document routine quality control tests on equipment.
- Recognize the necessity for regular maintenance of imaging devices to ensure consistent quality.
- Ensure examination rooms are adequately stocked with necessary supplies.
- Contribute to the development, review, and implementation of relevant policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate creativity in operational skills, decision-making, and contingency planning.
This is a full-time position requiring a commitment to 3x12 night shifts.
Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an oncology environment, including chemotherapy administration.
- At least 1 year of infusion nursing experience.
