The staff nurse delivers nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. He/she operates within the organization's policies and procedures, demonstrating professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned staff to ensure quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Minimum Education Required
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Minimum Experience Required
New Graduates of a nursing program are welcome to apply
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law
Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications
For PRN positions: One year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred
Bachelor's degree is preferred
Advanced certification in specialty area, if applicable (refer to addendum)
Nursing Experience In Hospital Setting Preferred
