About the Role:

  • This is a rewarding opportunity for an experienced nursing professional to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing their skills and expertise to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • The successful candidate will have a strong background in assessing patients, evaluating plans, and modifying treatment plans as needed.
  • They will be responsible for reporting symptoms and changes in patients' condition, consulting with physicians, and preparing patients for examinations and procedures.

About the Job:

  • Evaluate patient plans, including documentation of nursing care.
  • Report symptoms and changes in patients' condition and vital signs.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions, and physician orders.
  • Review, evaluate, and report diagnostic tests to assess patient's condition.
  • Consult with physicians and other healthcare professionals related to assigned patients.
  • Prepare patients for, and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
  • Nurture a compassionate environment by providing psychological support.
  • Administer medications within the scope of practice.
  • Communicate plan of care in a timely manner to patient and family, and team members.
  • Use best practices for transition of patient care.
  • Use available resources to assist in discharge planning.
  • Plan, prioritize, and adjust assignments to accomplish goals.
  • Operate medical equipment.
  • Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures.
