Position Overview
As an Embedded Firmware Engineer, you will play a crucial role in creating firmware for portable and wearable imaging devices, laser systems, and sensor technologies. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with a diverse engineering team to achieve project goals
  • Develop firmware for control systems, image acquisition, analysis, and processing
  • Operate within a Linux environment on various System on Module (SOM) platforms integrated with sensor hardware and user interfaces
  • Create firmware and image processing workflows for state-of-the-art infrared sensors and laser systems
  • Design drivers and graphical user interfaces for OLED and other microdisplay technologies
  • Conduct programming for system characterization and validation
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Experience:
  • Over 5 years of practical experience in embedded software development and validation
  • Proficiency in Linux or similar environments, with knowledge of programming languages such as C, C#, and Python
  • Familiarity with interfacing visible, low-light, and infrared cameras, as well as microdisplay systems
