Job Title: Night Custodian Sweeper

This position is a great opportunity to join the Bullitt County Public Schools team as a Night Custodian Sweeper. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our school community.

Job Summary:

The Night Custodian Sweeper will perform routine custodial activities at an assigned school site or facility to maintain buildings, locker rooms, and adjacent grounds areas in a clean, orderly, and secure condition.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the cleanliness of school buildings, locker rooms, and adjacent grounds areas.
  • Perform routine custodial activities, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning.
  • Ensure that all areas are secure and free from hazards.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to perform routine custodial activities.
  • Availability to work 8 hours per day, 182 days per year.

Pay Schedule:

This position is considered a ten-month employee on the pay schedule. Four paychecks will be paid at the end of June. Please see the payroll schedule at the link below for pay dates.
