CT Imaging Specialist

Position Overview

The CT Imaging Specialist role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures utilizing advanced CT technology. This position requires a strong background in both outpatient and emergency room settings.

Certification Requirements
  • BLS: Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
  • ARRT: Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Radiography and Computed Tomography is required.
Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct CT scans on both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Experience in a Level 1 trauma hospital and comprehensive stroke unit is essential.
  • Perform IV starts and administer contrast as needed.
  • Utilize 256, 64, and 16 slice GE scanners effectively.
Work Schedule

The work schedule includes:

  • Saturday and Sunday: 07:00 - 19:30
  • Monday: 08:30 - 17:00
  • Tuesday: 09:30 - 18:00
Additional Information
  • On-call duty is required every four weeks from Wednesday to Friday during evening hours.
  • Weekend shifts are part of the regular schedule.
  • Locals are not accepted; candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility.
  • Pending state licenses are not accepted.
  • RTO (Request Time Off) is subject to management approval.
Special Skills

Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in:

  • Outpatient, emergency room, and in-house examinations.
  • Operating advanced CT equipment.
