Work Hours:
The selected candidate will be expected to work from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Pharmacy Technician, your primary duties will include:
1. Dispensing medications accurately.
2. Utilizing pharmacy barcode scanners for precise labeling and packaging of prescription containers.
3. Conducting cycle counts at the end of each month.
4. Supporting the Inventory Team as necessary.
5. Assisting with the packing and shipping processes as required.
6. Performing additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. A valid Registered Technician Trainee license or Registered Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
3. Previous experience in a related field is advantageous.
4. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate business needs is essential.
5. Strong attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Capability to work well in a small team environment.
8. Must be able to push medication carts and deliver supplies within the facility.
Essential Skills:
1. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
2. Proficiency in navigating Microsoft applications.
Certifications/Degree Requirements:
1. Board of Pharmacy certification.
2. Registered Technician Trainee license or Registered Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits:
Pay Range:
$18 - $19 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
