Addiction Therapist

Gateway Rehab is seeking a highly skilled Coverage Therapist to join our team in Beaver Falls, PA. As a key member of our treatment team, you will be responsible for providing substance use treatment and case management services to assigned patients.

• Provide trauma-informed treatment through evidence-based practices.
• Develop and implement patient treatment plans in cooperation with the treatment team.
• Conduct individual, group, and/or family therapy sessions as needed.
• Assess patient progress and revise treatment plans accordingly.
• Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Plan for continuing care and make appropriate referrals.
• Monitor and complete insurance authorizations.
• Provide referrals for additional care or services when required.
• Achieve expected productivity levels.
• Participate in regular supervision and seek additional supervision as needed.
• Adhere to HIPAA and OMHSAS regulations.

• Bachelor's Degree with at least 1 year of experience in a behavioral health environment.
• Pass a PA Criminal Background Check.
• Obtain PA Child Abuse and FBI Fingerprinting Clearances.
• Pass a Drug Screen.
• Obtain CPR/First Aid Certification.

Favorable working conditions with minimal physical demands. Significant mental demands include treating patients with substance use and co-occurring disorders.
