Job Summary:

GWRSD & Middleton School Districts are seeking a qualified English Language Arts Teacher to join our team of dedicated educators. As a key member of our academic community, you will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging lesson plans, fostering a supportive classroom environment, and promoting academic growth among high school students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum guidelines, incorporating a range of instructional strategies to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere, encouraging active participation and collaboration among students.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to promote academic growth and development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary initiatives and student success, promoting a culture of mutual respect and open communication.
  • Maintain regular communication with students, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and classroom activities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, English, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Certification in Secondary English Education (preferred).
  • Prior experience teaching high school English or related subject matter (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of adolescent development and effective classroom management techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
