Job Title: Labor and Delivery RN Travel Nursing Position

Edgemont Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery RN for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington.

Job Description:

Specialty: Labor and Delivery

Discipline: RN

Shift: 12 hours, days

Employment Type: Travel

Unit: Labor and Delivery

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)

We require a minimum of 5 years of experience in high acuity and high pace environments, with at least 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery. First-time travelers are not accepted.

Floating is required to Post partum / Antepartum, and may be required to sister facilities that support Mom/Baby.

Responsibilities include:

  • Functions in the role of Baby Nurse during delivery and continues care of the newborn until transfer to post partum
  • Provides NB care, including eyes and Vit K injections, and newborn assessments
  • Circulates and provides care in high-risk and high-volume L&D environments

We value experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring and AWHONN guidelines. High-risk experience and ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments are essential.

Requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in high acuity and high pace environments
  • At least 3 years of experience in Labor and Delivery
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-acuity environments
  • Experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring and AWHONN guidelines
