Job Overview:
The Senior Auditor is tasked with executing and documenting audit procedures for designated audits, primarily concentrating on critical audit areas.
Responsibilities:
1. Conduct assigned audit test steps, follow up on findings, and document work in the database.
2. Communicate and discuss audit findings with relevant business units.
3. Participate in the planning phases of audits.
4. Receive coaching and feedback from the supervising manager.
5. Pursue necessary training opportunities.
6. Make informed decisions and apply professional judgment in control assessments.
7. Mentor team members through on-the-job training.
8. Offer recommendations to management regarding the control environment.
9. Engage in post-audit review meetings.
10. Develop skills to foster relationships both internally and externally within the audit function.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1-3 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in PC applications (MS Office Suite)
- Basic oral and written communication skills
- Fundamental critical thinking, problem-solving, and conflict resolution abilities
- Willingness to travel up to 25%
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Timely and accurate task completion
- Prompt escalation of issues and delays
- Adaptability to changing priorities
- Developing risk-based decision-making skills
- Basic understanding of laws and regulations relevant to the banking sector
- Proficient functional audit knowledge and skills
- Growing expertise in the assigned subject matter area.
- Relevant certification is preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA, CFA, or CIA Certification
