Job Summary

The Amentum team is seeking a highly skilled Labor Specialist III to join our team at the Hanford Vit Plant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our analytical radiological laboratory equipment system.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement work instructions for CM and PM work packages
  • Lead Job Hazard Analysis and ensure a safe working environment
  • Manage and maintain CM and PM lab work control
  • Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees
  • Ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations
  • Provide technical assistance and guidance to technical and scientific personnel
  • Assure quality, quantity, and completeness of work required
  • Plan and schedule activities associated with assigned projects
  • Maintain timeliness and accuracy of oral and written technical reports
  • Build productive relationships within the Lab and interfacing functional work groups
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in engineering or science or equivalent education desired
  • 6+ years of experience in chemistry, laboratory operations, work control, and work planning
  • WTP work planner qualification and CMMS proficiency preferred
Work Environment

This position is located at the Construction Site (22 miles north of Richland) and works a 4 x 10 schedule, M-Th, 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Must be able to work in the United States without Sponsorship and obtain a Department of Energy (DOE) badge for access to the Hanford site.
