About the Role
AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Marriage and Family Therapist to provide essential mental health services in a correctional setting. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients to address their unique needs and promote positive change.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and develop effective treatment plans.
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on solution-focused therapeutic goals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Administer Cognitive Behavior Therapy to individuals struggling with Substance Use Disorders.
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Valid California Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) license issued by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
- At least 12 consecutive months of experience providing similar services within the last 3 years.
- Mandatory certificates relevant to the assigned specialized area.
