Responsibilities

Position Summary:


The Physical Therapist is tasked with the assessment and treatment of physical therapy patients within the hospital and its satellite clinics, working towards established care plan objectives.

Under the direction of the Manager/Director of Rehabilitation Services, this role includes supervising staff as needed.


This individual is expected to embody the spirit and philosophy of the Adrian Dominican Sisters, ensuring that the rights of patients and their families are respected and documented appropriately.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:
Entry-level candidates are welcome.


Must have completed all accredited educational requirements and hold a valid license in good standing to practice as a Physical Therapist in the State of Nevada.

Proficiency in effective communication, both verbally and in writing, as well as computer skills in English, is essential.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required.

LIC PT = Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of NV.

CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA certification is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:
1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting.


Completion of postgraduate education or possession of certifications or CEUs in areas such as acute care, geriatrics, wound care, orthopedics, pediatrics, NICU, neurology, or other relevant clinical coursework/seminars is preferred.

Advanced familiarity with clinical documentation and software programs in a hospital environment is advantageous.

Multi-lingual capabilities in Spanish or Tagalog are a plus.

Pay Range:
$61.91 /hour
