Your Role:
As a Registered Nurse, you will deliver direct patient care within your assigned unit, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will manage the care of your assigned patients and guide ancillary staff, potentially serving as a charge nurse while assisting physicians as needed.
Your Contributions to the Team:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health statuses upon admission and throughout their stay, ensuring timely documentation and communication of significant findings to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to create and update individualized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Oversee and coordinate patient care activities, ensuring quality service delivery and effective communication among team members.
- Engage in continuous evaluation of patient outcomes, documenting the effectiveness of interventions and including patients and families in the evaluation process.
- Maintain compliance with nursing department standards, completing required competency testing and attending departmental meetings.
Qualifications Required:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
