Position Overview:
The role involves providing essential patient care services tailored to the unique developmental and age-related needs of individuals. This position supports the healthcare team by facilitating patient movement and ensuring comfort during their care journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fundamental patient care services that align with the developmental requirements of each patient.
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly communicate any changes to the registered nursing staff.
- Assist in the processes of patient admission, discharge, and transfer; respond to call lights in a timely manner.
- Maintain cleanliness in patient rooms, change linens, and carry out routine departmental duties.
- Safely transport patients as needed, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Manage supply orders for patient care and ensure stock levels are adequate.
- Support cost-effective patient care by efficiently utilizing time, equipment, and supplies.
- Adhere to safety protocols to create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Perform additional duties as assigned, with all responsibilities being essential functions of the role as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Completion of a Nurse Assistant Program is mandatory.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience is required.
Salary Information:
The listed salary range of $23.67-$23.67/hour represents a good faith estimate of potential base compensation for this position. Factors such as location, specialty, service line, relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity may influence the final salary offered.
