**Job Description**

We are seeking a Technology Operations Manager to join our team at Northville Public Schools. As a Technology Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining online learning platforms, assisting with classroom technology, and collaborating with other departments to provide service, support, and technical training.

About Our Team

Northville Public Schools technology department serves 7400 students and 11 buildings. We house and service around 4500 desktops and laptops for the student's faculty and staff. We support a network infrastructure of 900 access points, enterprise phone system, and a fiber network for all 11 buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain online learning platforms and assist with classroom technology
  • Assist with firewall, content filtering, and security services
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide service, support, and technical training
  • Manage various projects as established by the Director

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Experience working within an educational environment preferred
  • Demonstrated experience/ability to apply effective problem solving and innovative ideas to seek solutions to a variety of challenges or areas in need of improvement
  • Ability to effectively read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
  • Ability to understand TCP/IP LAN WAN networking
  • Demonstrated understanding of Microsoft Windows OS, Chrome OS, and Apple iOS
  • Valid Michigan driver's license required

Estimated Salary:** $70,000 - $90,000 per year

This is a full-time position with regular and predictable in-person attendance. The successful candidate will have excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, as well as strong teamwork, interpersonal communication, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
