Exciting Opportunity in Clinical Laboratory Science

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join our Special Chemistry team in Dublin, OH. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex technical procedures, monitoring and operating instrumentation, and ensuring the quality of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specimen acceptability evaluations and perform technical procedures according to established criteria
  • Operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
  • Prepare, test, and evaluate new reagents or controls
  • Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care
  • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures
  • Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary
  • Assist with specimen processing when needed
  • Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or meet local regulatory requirements
  • Previous clinical laboratory testing experience is not required, but ASCP or AMT certification is preferred
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Proficient with computers and familiar with laboratory information systems
  • High level of attention to detail, strong communication, and organizational skills
  • Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
  • Flexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs
