Cybersecurity Strategist

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Strategist to join our team at Liberty Mutual. This role will be responsible for designing and implementing security systems that protect our digital assets, including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, and access control systems.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing security systems to protect our digital assets
- Supporting compliance and security audit requests by working with other teams to develop and implement solutions to mitigate risks
- Developing and maintaining security policies and procedures that govern how our assets are accessed and used
- Responding to security incidents and supporting the industry standard incident response lifecycle
- Managing CSOC security tools to ensure they are up to date and properly configured to protect against emerging threats
- Staying up to date with industry trends and capabilities by attending conferences, reading industry publications, and participating in online communities
The ideal candidate will have subject matter expertise in cybersecurity engineering, digital forensics, and incident response, as well as 8 years of recent experience working as a cybersecurity professional.
Requirements- College-level degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Security, or related discipline
- Active cybersecurity certifications desirable (GCIH, GCFA, GCTI, OSCP)
- Knowledge of relevant frameworks, standards, and best practices (NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, CIS CSCs, MITRE ATT&CK)
- Experience with SIEM platforms and scripting languages (Python, PowerShell)

Salary Range$135,300 - $189,600 per year, based on qualifications and location.
