Job Title: Registered Behavior Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Freedom Behavior Consulting. As an RBT, you will play a critical role in providing direct behavioral interventions to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic relationship with clients and their families by providing a supportive and reinforcing environment.
  • Promote safe and socially acceptable behaviors by utilizing interventions developed through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Fade prompts to promote independent responding and increase the frequency and duration of desired behaviors.
  • Collect and record behavior data accurately, including frequency, duration, and latency.
  • Collaborate with BCBA's and family members to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to families on reinforcement and early intervention strategies.
  • Emphasize the importance of avoiding multiple relationships and maintaining professional boundaries.

**Requirements:**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; two years of coursework in psychology, education, social work, or related fields preferred.
  • Must hold or obtain the Registered Behavior Technician credential within six months of hire date and maintain certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
