Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Critical Care Unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring patient-centered care and optimal outcomes.
- Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment to prioritize patient needs, manage complex situations, and make informed decisions.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
