Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team at SIG Combibloc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the effective operation of our line equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting and repair.
  • Provide superior reports to the back office, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Plan and coordinate planned preventive major maintenance activities, ensuring effective operation of equipment and adherence to agreed procedures.
  • Provide production support post-maintenance, bringing the line to pre-maintenance efficiencies while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical and automation malfunctions, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Conduct systematic root cause analysis of problems, ensuring permanent resolution and proper documentation.
  • Handle claims and provide technical support and guidance to escalated claims, working closely with the quality department.
  • Install rebuilding kits according to procedures, reinstating equipment into production with high customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze and identify system performance issues, implementing correct and approved operational improvements.
Requirements:
  • Engineering Associate's degree, preferably in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • 4-8 years of experience in technical/equipment/machinery experience in an equipment manufacturing service-based industry, involving all levels of complexity.
  • Customer site and packaging line knowledge, carton and packaging technology, Aseptic a plus.
