Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work in our diagnostic imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and administering radioactive materials for nuclear medicine procedures, operating nuclear imaging equipment, and ensuring the safe storage and disposal of radioactive materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and administer radioactive materials for nuclear medicine procedures.
  • Operate nuclear imaging equipment to obtain images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure the safe storage, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials in compliance with safety regulations.
  • Monitor patient conditions during and after the procedure, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Prepare detailed reports based on imaging results for physician review.
  • Follow hospital protocols, maintaining safety standards for radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support - AHA) and Nuclear Medicine Certification (ARRT (N) or CNMT) required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of post-certification experience in nuclear medicine required.
  • Licensure: Active New Hampshire Nuclear Medicine License required.
