Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our team at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare. As a Nuclear Medicine Technician, you will be responsible for performing all Nuclear Medicine procedures according to established policies and procedures, methods and standards to provide quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all aspects of radiopharmaceutical preparation for scintigraphy, bioassay, and therapeutic procedures and dispose of radioactive trash according to department policy and Nuclear Regulatory Commission standards.
  • Perform imaging and therapeutic procedures according to requirements.
  • Document patient information and perform other non-clinical duties to support procedure completion.
  • Participate in continuing education activities to expand/enhance knowledge of Nuclear Medicine.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited school of Nuclear Medicine.
  • Experience in Nuclear Medicine (may include experience in formal NM formal training program).
  • Prefer three years' experience in nuclear medicine department.
  • Required to be registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Or Certified Nuclear Medical Technologist.
