- Provide analytical insights to support all commercial negotiations and supplier selection processes within assigned categories.

- Contribute to global synergy initiatives for the direct materials division concerning assigned categories.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of cost-saving initiatives aimed at achieving sustainable productivity improvements.
- Monitor and promote dual sourcing strategies to mitigate supplier risks.
- Champion and implement continuous improvement processes.
- Oversee the execution and reporting of supplier contracting initiatives.
- Assist senior management in crafting commodity strategy documents and long-term growth plans.
- Responsible for weekly reporting on all financial savings initiatives related to assigned categories.
- Provides strategic direction and oversight.
- Performance is evaluated based on the achievement of set goals and objectives.
- Maintains ongoing communication with procurement leadership regarding purchasing activities.
- Engages in strategic sourcing with a commercial focus.
- Intermediate experience in commodity management.
- Adept at thriving in a dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, logistics, and sales.
- Proven leadership capabilities in employee development, goal setting, and performance management.
- Demonstrated negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.
- Strong project management abilities.
- High attention to detail, with robust analytical and quantitative skills.
- Ability to formulate and balance both short-term and long-term strategies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, coupled with strong business acumen.
- Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
- Minimum of 5 years in commodity management or strategic sourcing roles.
- Proven track record of increasing spend management responsibilities.
- At least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
Must be capable of fulfilling essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations. Occasional travel may be required.
