Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and knowledgeably to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during delivery.
  • Load and unload merchandise from delivery vehicles, ensuring that all items are properly secured and protected during transit.
  • Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Verify delivery orders and ensure that all items are accurately loaded and delivered to the correct location.
  • Communicate with customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise during the delivery process.
  • Participate in daily safety reviews and report any hazards or concerns to management.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements and regulations relevant to the role, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to company safety policies.
Requirements
  • Class A CDL License (in locations with multi-unit CMV) or Class B CDL License (in locations with single-unit CMV) with air brake endorsement.
  • Valid medical certificate or ability to obtain one upon employment.
  • Ability to pass MVR screen in accordance with company requirements.
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
  • Must be 21 years of age.
  • Ability to comply with DOT and CDL regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
  • 6 months of experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service.
  • 3 months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle.
