Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join our team at Chattanooga School for the Liberal Arts. As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for teaching Algebra I or II, Geometry, and other mathematics courses to high school students.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction to ensure student understanding and mastery of mathematical concepts.
  • Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive learning environment.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mathematics education.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Valid Tennessee teaching certification in 6-12 Mathematics or eligibility for certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and adapt to changing circumstances.
