Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician Opportunities
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Pulmonary and Critical Care Physician to join our team at Medicorp, Inc. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary and critical care needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Board certification in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Completion of a fellowship program in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
- Current licensure to practice medicine in the state of Virginia
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation and Benefits

Schedule and Call
- Out-patient clinics (90%): 4.5 days per week, 8 am to 4:30 pm
- In-patient and out-patient hospital responsibilities (10%): variable schedule
- Call will be required to cover in-patient Pulmonary and Critical Care physicians during their PTO
Practice Environment
- Established patient base with opportunity for growth
- Current patient mix: 85% adult, 15% geriatric
- Referrals from local providers and affiliated hospitals
- Telemedicine services being developed in this market
