**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Cake Decorator to join our Bakery team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating visually appealing cakes and pastries that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Perform cake decorating functions in an efficient and timely manner, adhering to our quality control standards.
• Collaborate with the Bakery Department Manager to ensure seamless execution of cake decorating tasks.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to our health and safety protocols.
• Operate department equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures and guidelines.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime, to meet business demands.
**Requirements:**
• Previous experience in cake decorating or a related field.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
• Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds.
**Equipment/Tools Operated:**
• Mixers, scales, fryers, knives, ovens, proofers, frosters, glazers, photo cake machine, airbrush, and sanitizing equipment.
