Waste Connections is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic Specialist to join our team in Justin, Texas.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, chassis, and body components.
• Inspect equipment and trucks for condition, operations, parts, and fluid levels.
• Knowledge of Hydraulics repair is required.
• Utilize vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes and initiate repairs.
• Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
• Complete required paperwork utilizing fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles.
• Reviews, completes or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
• Performs required safety protocols while working on vehicles.

• Minimum 2+ years' experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Must provide own personal tools. Welding/fabrication experience is a huge plus.
• ASE Certifications Preferred, but not required.
