Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Civil Designer to join our Land Development Team in Indianapolis, IN. As a Civil Designer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of our communities by designing and developing land development and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design and develop land development and infrastructure projects, including stormwater, sanitary systems, roads, and utilities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality projects, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and ensure timely project completion.
  • Reports and Plans: Prepare reports, design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for land development and infrastructure projects.
  • Permitting Assistance: Assist project teams with civil and environmental permits and approvals.
  • Water Resource Management: Work with teams that understand the many aspects of water and are industry leaders in helping protect this valuable resource. As a civil designer, you will have opportunities to analyze and design projects impacted by or intentionally engaging with streams, floodplains, wetlands, and other water resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Experience: 0-3 years of related experience.
  • Skills: Experience in AutoCAD Civil3D, GIS, and MicroStation (preferred). Familiarity with modeling/design tools (HEC-RAS, TR-20, XPSWMM (preferred but not required). Knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic modeling/design tools (preferred).
