Job Overview

Internship Summary:

The Marketing Trainee will assist the marketing department and gain insights into the fundamental operations of a Marketing division. Key responsibilities will encompass crafting social media content, reviewing and refining written materials for articles and promotional assets, aiding in video production, and offering administrative assistance to the Marketing Manager. This internship provides a comprehensive view of the business, as the Marketing team engages in all internal and external communications. The role promises practical experience and includes training on various marketing support platforms such as project management software, video presentation tools, and social media management systems.

Position Details:
  • Part-time internship

Key Responsibilities:

The following tasks represent the primary duties of this position, with additional responsibilities potentially assigned:
  • Support the review and editing of content for social media and other marketing materials
  • Assist in the development of written, video, and visual content for marketing channels
  • Capture images and videos that reflect company culture to enhance content creation
  • Contribute creative ideas to enrich content platforms
  • Help prepare sales materials, including presentation creation
  • Update staff biographies and assist in creating team introduction pieces
  • Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required
  • Learn to utilize marketing support tools effectively
  • Assist with internal support initiatives
  • Engage in marketing brainstorming sessions and collaborative projects
Qualifications:
  • 0-1 years of relevant experience
  • Must be a rising Junior or Senior pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on timely responses
  • Strong organizational capabilities
  • Effective time management skills
  • A quick learner who thrives in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Word
  • Project management skills are advantageous
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and applications is preferred
General Physical Demands:

This role involves sedentary work, requiring occasional exertion of up to 10 pounds to move objects.
