Job Opportunity

The DoubleTree by Hilton Washington DC North/Gaithersburg is seeking a skilled Banquet Manager to lead our team in delivering exceptional guest experiences during banquet functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate banquet setups, changes, and time schedules for all functions
  • Ensure public areas are neat and clean, and all equipment is returned to its proper area after each function
  • Know the menu for each function and be able to explain ingredients and preparation methods to guests
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Banquet Supervisor/Manager experience in a hotel or resort setting
  • Superior communication skills to provide information and services to hotel management and guests
  • Ability to transport up to 30lbs through a crowded room on a continuous basis
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Proven team player with availability to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays
