Job Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting. This includes assessing patients, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:- Deliver safe and effective patient care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Current and valid state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
- Current PALS certification and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
