Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in our Family Birthing Center, specializing in Labor and Delivery and Mother-Baby care. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong background in maternal and neonatal nursing.
Certification Requirements- Certifications: BLS, PALS, NRP, and AWHONN intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring certifications are mandatory.
- Both BLS and PALS certifications must be obtained through recognized organizations such as the American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
- All travelers must successfully complete the BCA (basic cardiac arrhythmia) testing within the first week of their assignment.
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in the current specialty is required.
- Ideal candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior completion of at least one 13-week travel assignment is necessary.
- EMR Experience: Familiarity with EPIC EMR is preferred.
- Only submit candidates who are aware of their application to our facility.
- Candidates should not contact the facility directly.
- An active NM or compact license is required for submission.
- Any requests for time off must be disclosed at the time of submission for consideration.
- Requests for time off made after acceptance will not be accommodated.
- Include at least two references (one from the current manager), a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment with submissions.
- This position involves varied 12-hour shifts.
- Shifts may change based on departmental staffing needs.
- Travelers may be required to float to MBC/MSC and other areas as needed.
- On-call duties, weekends, and holidays may be required.
- Travelers will be the first to float within the facility and to nearby locations.
- Traveling pairs may not have synchronized schedules or shifts.
- Travelers must not have been employed by the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for the past 12 months to be eligible for a travel position.
- State tax will be processed through your agency and reflected on your invoice, payable to the state of New Mexico.
