We are seeking a highly skilled Utility Relocation Technician to join our team at the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As a key member of our Engineering District 2 team, you will play a critical role in delivering technical expertise for utility relocation tasks of varying complexity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support for utility relocation projects, ensuring seamless coordination with utility companies and stakeholders.
- Assist in project scoping sessions, offering valuable insights on potential utility impacts and required coordination efforts.
- Contribute to the completion of Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) evaluations and assess the necessity for further utility investigations.
- One year of experience as an Engineering Technician performing utility relocation work, or equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Associate's degree in surveying, civil engineering, or design and drafting technology, or equivalent.
- Full-time employment with a competitive salary.
- Opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, with a securely configured high-speed internet connection.
