The successful candidate will work closely with attorneys to manage cases effectively from inception through resolution, focusing on personal injury, premise liability, and subrogation matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation and trial of insurance defense cases
  • Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategies and prepare legal documents
  • Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting discovery requests and responses
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal rules of procedure

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of paralegal experience, with 3+ years in insurance defense
  • Familiar with billing practices and timekeeping
  • Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and experience with legal case management software
