Physical Therapy Assistant

Silver Creek Physical Therapy, a leading provider of outpatient orthopedics, is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at our Sunnyvale location.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to assist our physical therapists in providing exceptional patient care. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in preparing treatment rooms, assisting patients with physical therapy exercises, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
- Assist patients with physical therapy exercises and activities, under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, including laundry and linen supplies.
- Record daily notes and maintain accurate records of patient progress.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and inventory management.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in customer service or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform duties, including prolonged standing and lifting.
This is a part-time position, working on Mondays from 1:20pm - 6:20pm. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
