About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team at Bluebird Hunter Lodge. As a Line Cook, you will play a critical role in ensuring the high-quality preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook menu items to order, following standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Station Management: Set up and maintain a clean and organized workstation, ensuring all necessary equipment and ingredients are available.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service and high-quality food production.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of food products, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, stoves, dishwashers, and other appliances.
  • Cleanliness and Sanitation: Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Line Cook in a similar property or culinary school preferred.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing.
Compensation

$23 - $26 hourly wage.
