Position Overview

Preferred Qualifications
- Comprehensive experience with the Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) cycle for both Major Intelligence Program (MIP) and Non-Intelligence Program (NIP) funds.
- Familiarity with acquisition systems, processes, and best practices within the Department of Defense.
- Proven experience in program management, including relevant training or certifications.

Education and Experience Requirements
Applicants must meet the minimum qualifications for the position through one of the following alternatives:
Alternative A: A degree in computer science, information systems management, or a related field, or coursework that involved the development of computer programs and systems.
Alternative B: General analytical experience in any field, along with successful completion of a written assessment for competitive appointment.

Specialized Experience
For higher-level positions, candidates should demonstrate experience in:
- Translating complex logical steps into programming languages.
- Collaborating with subject-matter experts to gather information and synthesize it into actionable insights.
- Managing computer operations and scheduling program sequences for optimal efficiency.
- Conducting cost/benefit analyses and preparing documentation.
