Cardiovascular Interventionist

Magnet Medical is seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Interventionist to join our team for a travel assignment in El Paso, Texas.

As a Cardiovascular Interventionist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced cath lab environment. You will work closely with cardiologists and other medical professionals to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, including coronary angioplasty and stent placement.

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

• Prepare patients for procedures by verifying medical history, allergies, and consent forms.
• Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization, angioplasty, and other interventional procedures.
• Operate X-ray fluoroscopy equipment and assist with imaging during diagnostic tests.
• Monitor vital signs and report any abnormalities to the physician.
• Administer medications under physician direction.

• Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy and physiology.
• Excellent technical skills and ability to operate complex medical equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

This is a 13-week contract position with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined, based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week.

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
