Maintenance Technician Job Description

The Maintenance Technician is a critical role within our organization, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems
  • Lead and train other technicians in skills development and best practices
  • Conduct inspections and testing of equipment and systems to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operation of facilities and equipment
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; related experience and/or training preferred
  • Five or more years of experience in maintenance and repair, with a focus on hospital or healthcare settings
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
