- Build positive relationships with each child to foster self-esteem and adaptive skills.
- Engage with families to share insights about their child's progress and experiences.
- Conduct parent conferences to discuss developmental milestones and growth.
- Coordinate educational activities that are developmentally appropriate and adhere to early learning standards.
- Support toilet training and other personal development skills.
- Lead by example, promoting teamwork and success among staff members.
- Plan and execute individual and group activities that stimulate social, cognitive, and emotional growth.
- Maintain open communication with parents through various channels.
- Ensure compliance with all center policies and state regulations.
- Promote a healthy classroom environment by adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
- Supervise assistants and volunteers to ensure adherence to planned activities and safety protocols.
- Keep accurate records and documentation as required.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with basic computer proficiency.
- High energy and a collaborative spirit to work effectively with staff, children, and families.
- A solid understanding of child development principles.
- Certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid.
- Successful completion of a background check and health screening.
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
