About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our Behavioral Health team as a Behavioral Health Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with diverse mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify patients' mental health needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Collaborate with patients to establish treatment goals and develop measurable steps to achieve them.
  • Provide Individual, Group, and Family Therapy: Offer evidence-based therapies to patients, including individual, group, and family therapy sessions.
  • Lead Crisis Intervention and Develop Functional Assessments: Provide crisis intervention and develop functional assessments to identify patients' strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Complete Accurate Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to ensure seamless communication with patients and healthcare providers.
Requirements
  • Licensed MA/MS in Psychology: Possess a Master's degree in Psychology and a valid license to practice as a Licensed Therapist.
  • Active LLP Licensure in Michigan: Hold an active Limited License Psychologist (LLP) licensure in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 15 Scheduled Visits per Week: Be able to commit to a minimum of 15 scheduled visits per week, with flexibility to accommodate evening and Saturday appointments.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Clinical Presentations: Possess experience working with a wide range of clinical presentations, including children and adolescents.
  • Direct Psychotherapy Experience: Have experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in using computers and basic technology to maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate with patients and healthcare providers.
  • Professional Growth and Development: Demonstrate a history of professional growth and development, with a commitment to ongoing education and training.
