Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and assess patients' movements and function to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Review patients' medical histories and outline clear goals for treatment.
  • Use exercises, stretching, equipment, and hands-on therapy to manage patients' pain, increase mobility, and prevent further injury.
  • Document patients' progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
  • Educate patients, family members, and caregivers about the rehabilitative process.
  • Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient well-being.
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MsPT) degree from a CAPTE-accredited program.
  • Valid Physical Therapist license in the state(s) where services are rendered.
  • Interest in working with diverse populations, including those with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
  • Willingness to obtain or current BLS and/or CPR certification.
Performance Skills:
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based healthcare services.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and prioritize tasks.
  • Customer service focus and willingness to learn.
