Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Unavailable. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with communication, speech, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients with communication, speech, and swallowing disorders to identify treatment needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Implement and update treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes, including cognitive/communication training, swallowing treatment, and home evaluation.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and develop comprehensive care plans.
  • Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with hospital and departmental standards.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology issued by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
  • Current active Washington State Speech/Language Pathologist license or a Washington State Interim Permit.
  • Current healthcare provider BLS Certification.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Acute Care experience in a hospital or rehabilitation setting with an emphasis in adult neurological services.
  • Completed fellowship in Speech-Language Pathology.
