Materials Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Materials Planner to join our team at Fidelis Holdings LLC in Ferris, Texas. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials for our manufacturing processes.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field and 3 years of increasing responsibility in a similar role. You will be responsible for reviewing MRP shortage and replenishment reports, coordinating and managing materials ramp up/down as necessary to minimize obsolescence expense, and maintaining inventory at the necessary levels to support company goals while maintaining a high level of customer service and eliminating production downtime.

• Plan and schedule, release, confirm and follow up on assigned material, components, and/or parts to ensure on-time delivery and support to the manufacturing schedules (MRP).
• Actively participate in the daily Materials meetings and provide timely updates on any open part issues or inventory planning.
• Assist in the preparation and management of the MRP system.
• Proactively investigate, determine, and document the impact of proposed changes for the facility either as a result of internal engineering changes, new product development, or business acquisitions.

We offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience, and benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field and 3 years of increasing responsibility in a similar role.
• Demonstrated understanding of MRP/ERP Systems and Processes.
• Highly engaging, passionate, and hands-on individual with sound decision-making and organizational skills.
• Effective math, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills (verbal and written).
