Job Summary:

The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) plays a critical role in our team, responsible for monitoring client treatment and delivering clinical services. This position requires a strong commitment to providing compassionate care and a high level of organization and time management skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a panel of mental health consumers who require injectable medications, ensuring timely delivery and administration of Long-Acting Injectable (LAI) medications.
  • Assist with Clozapine management, including vital signs, lab monitoring, and requisitions, and reporting any abnormalities to the prescribing provider.
  • Monitor, track, and schedule follow-up injections, ensuring seamless care coordination.
  • Provide front and/or back office administrative support, as needed, including obtaining medical records, answering phones, and uploading documents.
  • Triage client phone calls, escalating as necessary to the prescribing provider.
Requirements:
  • Licensed vocational nurse with a minimum of two years of mental health experience.
  • Active BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to maintain a flexible work schedule.
  • Valid California Driver's License and a driving record acceptable by the Agency's insurance company.
